Unless you live on Royalton you probably haven't ever noticed the narrow strip of land that runs for a few hundred feet down past the pond. Too narrow to build on. Perfect 'Common Land'. People walk their dogs on it and most of them wouldn't use a bag to clean up if their lives depended on it.

I'm sitting in my garage smoking, watching one of my neighbors. He's got a shovel and he's just going from one pile of his neighbor's pets 'gifts' to our community to another, picking them up and chunking them into the ravine below the pond.

No one asked him to do it. He doesn't have a clipboard and no is going to put his picture in a newsletter or on a website. He was out walking his dog a little earlier this morning, saw a mess, and decided on his own to clean it up.

I just wanted to thank him, the people who decorated the entrances, and the Members who serve on our board. All doing what they can to help. Not a self-serving individual among them.
